Default 2017 Sport - Mobile Data

I lost live traffic information on the vehicles sat nav over a year ago. At the same time the usb ports in the centre console stopped working too.

I swapped out the unit in the centre console (usb ports and sim reader) thinking the usb ports were faulty. The usb ports were now working but I still didn’t have any live traffic.

So I changed the sim card in the car.

It still didn’t sort the problem so I sent it to the dealer to fix. After being with them over a week I’ve been told that the problem is the new SIM card is a 4G sim and the car will only accept a 3G sim card.

I’ve now come home and put my 4G SIM card in a 2018 Evoque and it works fine, I’ve put the 3G sim out of the Evoque into my Sport and it still does not work.

Has anyone else had this issue, or tell me
how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
