Hello everyone, I was hoping for some advice on a common fault, as I am not a mechanic, I work as a nurse and need my car for work.
My car: Range Rover Sport 2016, 3.0 sdv6 HSE. Last serviced November 23 (56000 miles.)
The car has a good run to and from work on a motorway. Recently I did a 600 mile round trip. On the way home I got the message "No engine restarts in XX miles incorrect DEF quality detected." Some miles later it changed to "DEF dosing malfunction"
I put my icarsoft cr pro scanner on which gave me the codes P2BAE 00, P2BAE 02 and P2BAF 00.
Having watched a few videos, I drained the DEF tank and filled it with 10L Adblue, cleaned the DEF injector, and drove for 40 miles in sport mode at 70mph, but the amber warning light still says " Dosing Malfunction" and won't go off. Also my vehicle information panel says I only have 217 miles of adblue left despite putting 10L in.
Land Rover cant book me in until 5th March. Any ideas please?
