hello all! i'm in america, i've have a 2017 rrs td6 and i'm experiencing the def quality issue. i'm trying to trouble shoot and i wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas before i call the "stealership". i've posted some pics and heres some background. when i bought this vehicle i could see on carfax that the ecu software had been updated ( i'm in alabama in america by the way)...and as i understand, this was an issue that had been fairly successfully corrected with a software update. about a month ago i had anothe fob programmed and the dealer mentioned having to flash the vehicle to program the fob..... between time and the last couple of days i've filled my def with defblue platinum. the iso rating is 22241-1 which is the same rating as AdBlue ( which i know is tossed about all over land rover and jaguar and i'd hate for dealer to tell me that one of my probs is the wrong def)... so i got the error about the def quality and ive cleaned the injector and drained the def tank and filled with "fresh" def and ive attempted to test the def injector by running starting the engine while the injector is pulled out of the exhaust. my scanner gives me all the usual nox errors associated with this problem and i can clear them and then recieve the "def dosing malfunction" which clears after driving for 30mi. BUT... then after driving about 100miles... the quality error comes back on. i'm so sorry for being long winded... heres my query... should the injector work or spray when the engine is not under load? what software version should the ecu have? i fear the fob flash has reverted the software back to the original. thanx all!!!!!!!! stand by for pics. here is my current ecu software version as well.
