Exclamation Help! Radiator to Engine Coolant Expansion Tank Hose Breakage

Hi All!

I wanted to see if I could get some opinions on a problem that I have on my Range Rover Sport. While I was doing some repairs I noticed that there was a small crack in this hose and when I tried moving it, the hose actually broke off. Pictures to follow this post.

If I get a replacement part, CPLA-8276-AC, do I need to do anything more than just removing the hose and replacing it? Also, in the mean time when I wait for the replacement part, do you think I could join the hose with a fitting for a temporary fix so that I can still drive short distances?

Let me know your thoughts as I would like to get some insight!
