Default No power to start button, no power to dash

Hi everyone.

i have a 2019 range rover sport. Tried to start it this morning and the dash is completely black, no power or light, and the start button does not work.

car locks and unlocks, alarms work, side steps working normally, lights working fine, boot will not open automatically, but will close when button pressed. Radio and the center screens turn on briefly, but the lights dim after a few minutes. Battery is fine. Called out a mechanic and the diagnostic would not work on the car either. He checked for leaks but everything was dry. He is arranging recovery now so they can get it into a garage to look properly.

anyone else had similar problem? Or does anyone have an idea what could cause this?

thanks in advance

Hi
I've now got the exact same problem. Did you get to the bottom of it the fault. Car currently in the JLR at £220 an hour and they have no idea what is wrong.
Any help would be appreciated?

C

Good morning,

Have you by any chance found a solution to this problem? I have a car here with the same problem and look forward to your response

Hi guys, it was the BCM that caused my problems. The part was on back order with no available date at the time. It took a good few months to get the part. Had no problems since it was fixed!

Hi, have you also replaced the BCM and has this resolved the problem?
