Default Screens freezing up

I have a 2020 Range Rover Sport with the V8 engine, I ordered it last summer and it arrived at the dealership in Ohio around Thanksgiving 2019. Love the vehicle except that intermittently the center screens will freeze up. When this happens none of the functions of the screens will work. (Can't change radio stations, increase fan speeds, etc.). To remedy this situation I have to shut ignition off and wait a few minutes and normally everything will work ok. Sometimes I have to try it a few times before it will work. I called the dealer salesman I bought the car from and he advised me that this is normal, not a big deal, and to live with it. Have any other Rover owners experienced anything like this with your vehicles? I'm a car guy and have never experienced anything like this before. Usually this stuff is worked out before the car goes into production. Thanks for any advice, it's still a great vehicle!

Newish 2020 disco here. Mine has gotten stuck for 20 seconds or so several times in the 2200 miles it's been driven. Once it got stuck on the land rover logo screen at start up.. pulled over... keyed off.... blank screen at start up. Keyed off about 1 minute... started up and still no center screen... no radio... gps still worked and had traffic info on the driver screen, kids had wifi hot spot. Drove 30 minuted home and it never showed up. Came out 20 minutes later and it was working fine.... no new software update in progress and wasn't just updated or anything. We had just tried to start it unsuccessfully from the phone app and i do wonder if that caused this...
our 2013 Lincoln did this only handful of times... I am hoping it is just as rare for the Rover.

Thanks for your response. I wasn't using my phone app so that didn't cause it for me. I just wish it was more reliable and hope they get it worked out.

Default Also happened once

Happened to me once in similar manner but on a 2019 RRS. Got to a destination then shut car off. An hour later when I came back, everything OK again. It is most certainly NOT normal as the dealer said in one of the posts here. It is a $100k car for goodness sake and we should expect that software at least works properly. My dealer here in Jacksonville, FL said there was a software update needed. Also, they set it up so they can deliver updates without having to go into the dealer. Never had the problem again.
