Anyone in NA have a data plan to take advantage of the built in wifi hot spot? I'm trying to find out if I can use the built-in wifi hot spot for my network enabled dash cam setup. Also, what provider and configuration to make it work. Or would it be better to just get a separate portable wifi hotspot. Looking for experience using this. I have a 2016 RRS.

 

I use the wifi hotspot in my 2019 RRS with no problems. Usually for laptop if working on road trip or my radar detector. I have AT&T connected car plan.

 

Hi, I had that same issue, Was given the run around by JLR until i found out all the 3G networks are shut down if you want that service, You have to upgrade the telematics module. Got a quote from the dealer for about 3 grand.
