Default Tube affixed to bottom of diesel fuel filter hamging loose.

Hi,

Can anyone on here shed some light on this for me?

I have recently noticed a black tube dangling from the bottom of my engine bay. I have traced the tube and seems to be connected to the bottom of my diesel fuel filter. My car a 2014 L494 V6 Diesel.
Just making sure if this is meant to be right or not?

Yellow arrow showing dangling tube.

That's to drain water from the filter or drain it when you replace it...
You could cut some of it off.
