I am listing our 1995 Discovery for sale here. We also have an extra engine with about 80,000 miles on it. Plus -- a full set of mounted snow tires. We would like to sell all items together. The Disco is in running condition, but needs some attention, and some safety features have been disabled.

Front cover main seal
Main pulley
Oil cooler lines
Head gaskets
Rodded out radiator
Several alternators
O2 sensors
Several sets of brake pads
Shocks
Transmission filter/fluid
Coil
Ignition control module
Distributor (swap from spare engine)
Driveshaft roto coupler
Trailing arm bushings
Other normal tune-up stuff (plugs, wire, dist cap, …)

Here's the bad:

Issues:
SRS System (airbags) – throws error and dash light lit. No idea what is wrong.
Anti-lock brake system – removed fuses for its operation due to periodic strange ABS behavior (failure mode for this system results in almost no braking)
Shift lock solenoid – removed. Can shift into gear without foot on brakes
Turn signals – sometimes turn signal does not flash but just stays lit
Coolant – VERY slow loss of coolant. Can smell it at start-up in AM.
Shocks – noisy, clucky. Could just be incorrect bushings at mount point.
Cloth headliner – starting to come loose
Rear sun roof – inoperable (switch disconnected). Sealed closed. Changed out track system many years ago but did not stay working properly.
Auto Windows – some switches operate only once in a while. Master console switches always work.
Auto Door locks – some door locks work intermittently
Brake rotors – not in the best shape but no braking issues
Seats – worn. Especially driver seat
Radio – front left speaker no output. I think this is the radio.
Grounding – have added a couple direct ground wires in hopes to fix failing alternators. Worked very well last two years.
Disabled alarm system no start feature (still alarms but you can start vehicle while alarm is sounding)
Cruise control has really never worked
Rear wiper and liquid spray switch is flakey
Some sensor connectors “glued” on with RTV
