Selling my Land Rover discovery 2. It has been swapped with an OM617 Mercedes diesel from an 85 300d. It's not a powerful diesel, you're not going to pull anything with this really, but it is different and even though it isn't pretty it gets a lot of attention and compliments. The previous owner did the swap I just tidied up a little bit. It has the stock Mercedes transmission as well so the gear ratio is not ideal to say the least top of 60 on the highway without churning serious rpm's. This is however actually reliable, just came back from the outter banks and apart from it taking longer due to slower speed not a single problem. Most of the electrical features such as heated seats all wondows and sun roofs(without leaks) are operational however rear defrost isn't for some reason I think it's the switch. Also it has about 5" of lift on it and 35" tires I believe some off brand but rides normal and did great in the snow we had last year and a little bit on the beach down in North Carolina.

The bad: has some blow by, engine true mileage is around 200-210k now as I put about 13-14k on it already since I bought it last August. There is no a/c which is a major part of me selling because it's my daily and I have two small kids. Idles a little rough time to time. Keep in mind this is a 30year old diesel so it drips here and there probably burns a little I don't know for sure I add about a qt every 3k and change it at 4-5k. The hood and passenger fender are a different color and off a newer model. Asking 5700
