Dang... that's unfortunate. Any idea why the liner slipped after a fresh rebuild?

Not sure to be honest. Leave it to the rover gods for that answer. I would love to find out, but I am moving to a condo with no garage so my ability to work on anything is limited now. This is a fire sale to be honest so if you know someone please send them my way. Rebuild it with the good block or strip the parts and use them for another D1
