Pretty cool video too.

I could almost use the video for our 01. Besides the brush guard on ours it looks pretty much the same...

And the boot isnt a hard fix. Did it already.

Awww, brush guard?

/jealous

It seems as if my $5,800 didn't garner the "I'll take it!"s that I thought it would.

Thus, I'll open the floor for the barbaric (kidding) "best offers".

Work was too busy yesterday, I neither had my wheels switched, or made the new page with the pictures.

I'm secretly hoping it'll sell before I have to do any of that work.

Pat

I watch rover prices all the time...

With the cost of gas going to $5 this summer I cant say that there will be allot of people looking to buy a rover.

Gas is near $4 here and my wife is insisting we dump ours....idk, but I like it too much.

I drive a Hyundai because I get 40 mpg. I drive 3 hours a day to work, once I took the rover and it cost me $45 round trip. My hyundai about $15.

Keep at it...you might find someone with a sparkle in their eye...

Distance is a factor and is stopping me from making an offer. 850 miles is a long way off. If I was closer I would certainly take a look at it.

All I can say is you have an extremely high opinion of yourself and what this vehicle is worth. It will be interesting to see how much someone is actually willing to pay you for it. Your little bit about not taking a penny less than your asking price turned me off.

Guess nobody is beating your door down to get it are they?

I wonder how much it costs to transport that vehicle from you to southern California? (like have it shipped, but not across any water lol) I'd have to consider that along with the price you're asking. (and as previously discussed, the California smog impact fee)...

Americans just kill me with their "gas crisis"...

In Canada we've been paying around $1.35/Litre for 87 Octane for the past 4 years. That is $5.10/Gallon

People fall in love with their concept of a vehicle instead of the reality of the vehicle. That is why another guy thought his Discovery with a bad engine was still worth 3500 and this fellow thinks his should bring 6500 but he'll settle for 5800 or whatever.

These things have a limited suitability as an around vehicle, they are great in certain applications, but hardly the fantastic vehicle that can demand the price a lot of current owners percieve.
