2001 Discovery II SE, 113,000 miles, PARTS CAR
Hey everyone,
Unfortunately my beloved Disco died on me. Big time overheated the other day.. It tested positive for exhaust in the coolant, so it's either head gaskets or might even be a bad block in general. The previous owner said she just did head gaskets before I bought it, so that leads me to believe it's a bad block.. OR the person did a crap job and now the engine is ruined.
Everything else about the car is in great shape! Every single piece of electronics works perfectly. Until the engine died, it was driving so well.. I even had just put a brand new drive shaft on it! It's located in Vermont, so hopefully there are some fellow New Englanders out there.
It is however a Flood Salvage Title. According to its Carfax, the Rover was in Houston TX in 2001 when a hurricane went through, and the truck only had 2700 miles on it. Brand spanking new, and it was freshwater flooded. The title was rebuilt, and the car was driven by a woman in New Hampshire until I bought it.
Anyway, just thought that should be mentioned, don't want to mislead anyone.. Since it was driven over 100k after the flood though, there can't be anything major wrong with it that's water related (which is why I bought it).
I'd love to get around $2000, but all reasonable offers will be considered.
Thanks,
Dylan
