What CDL? That's an '02, it's markedly CDL-less.

You know what does have a CDL, though? My non-Kalahari '99.

This thread is pretty funny.. but on another note, no, you cannot get under this Kalahari and lock anything. 02s do not have the engagement mechanism like Racer said.

for those that struggle with pix upload, seems that you need to think small, like one megapixel or less. Five per post.

Man, as a Rover enthusiast who brags about camaraderie to the Jeepers, I'm embarrassed by this thread. I still don't see why everyone attacked the OP. So he wants top-dollar for his truck- who cares? Are you all afraid he might actually get it? Even if he does, who cares?!?!?!??

OP, on behalf of (most?) Rover enthusiasts, I apologize for the ugliness.

As I said before, good luck with the sale.

Rover on, all!

The only ugliness I see in all of this is the OP who's Kalahari is "...head and tails above most of the crap that you all own".

When I was looking for my D2, I specifically ruled out late 2001 through 2003, because of the lack of a CDL. Most people who are seriously looking at D2's, built or not, will do the same, for the same reason as I did.

I'm sure the OP has a nice truck, but at $8500 it's not going to sell to anyone who knows these trucks well.

You should post this truck on discoweb.org --

That site is just for Discovery enthusiasts perhaps you will find a more receptive audience there.

It wasnt an attack. It was an honest opinion. Learn the difference.

I'm sure "my D2 is better than the POS you all drive" will go over with those guys.

Zack - since your firm is a major source parts for serious restorations, do you have ad space for vehicles for sale that would go on your web site or the swanky catalogs? Not for the pile of posh pre-owned sheetmetal like mine and thousands of others, but instead for the unique and special ones.

Wreckless eyeballing of Rovers is a hobby that has used of many megabits of bandwidth.
