I'm going To try to pull my door Panel as soon as it stops raining out here. But I feel like it's the locking mechanism. Whatever spring us attached to it doesn't seem to be returning the latch back to the ready position when you open it.

I'll take a closer look but I'm pretty sure I'd only need the latch that shuts the door. The closing mechanism. However, I have no idea what that's attached to. So if I NEED all the guts, I'll look up some shipping quotes. Do you know what is necessary? Sometimes when I shut that door it just bounces open because the latch doesn't catch. And you really have to slam it to get it to close. Sound like just the latch?
Did you try spraying it with lub?
