Craigslist Find: Military Spec Defender for sale in New Hampshire

Probably a pretty decent price, considering its a 110 and a canvas top. Assuming no major issue with rust or mechanical things of course. I paid less for my van/hardtop 90.
The military usually fixed things when they broke so it seems. Mine had a brand new speedo and lots of other stuff looked new too, like the a-arm ball joint.

If I had the $$$$$$ I'd buy it in a heartbeat regardless of the condition. It's located less than 40 minutes away from where I live in NH!

It would take it close to an hour to make the trip, not very speedy. Neighbor down the street got one in Tennessee for $2500 and trailered it back and restored after no telling how many purchases from Rovers North.

I can confirm this. Even mostly empty you will get 55 maybe 60 on flat road and the engine will be screaming like a banshee. Put a little bit of a grade in front of you and 35 to 45 is it. You'll be driving with flashers on and semis will be angrily passing you. Sometimes bicycles too.
