Probably a pretty decent price, considering its a 110 and a canvas top. Assuming no major issue with rust or mechanical things of course. I paid less for my van/hardtop 90.

The military usually fixed things when they broke so it seems. Mine had a brand new speedo and lots of other stuff looked new too, like the a-arm ball joint.

If I had the $$$$$$ I'd buy it in a heartbeat regardless of the condition. It's located less than 40 minutes away from where I live in NH!

It would take it close to an hour to make the trip, not very speedy. Neighbor down the street got one in Tennessee for $2500 and trailered it back and restored after no telling how many purchases from Rovers North.

For some reason leaf sprung rovers don't command as high of a price as coilers.

Edit: here's a photo from the craigslist ad, so in the future we know what we were all looking at.

I can confirm this. Even mostly empty you will get 55 maybe 60 on flat road and the engine will be screaming like a banshee. Put a little bit of a grade in front of you and 35 to 45 is it. You'll be driving with flashers on and semis will be angrily passing you. Sometimes bicycles too.

Who here would spend $15K on a camo 1985 F250 with 4WD and the straight 6 engine?

So why would anyone buy this old thing? Just sayin....
