defender td5 ecu
hi all
i have a number of genuine ecu's to suit all 'xa - ya' (98 - 2000) td5 defenders for sale. these are as new; they were fitted to a specially orederd fleet of defenders that were sent from the uk to australia but the customer did not want imobilisers fitted so the ecu's were removed and different ones were installed. the ones that were removed are the ones that i am selling and they are all in good working order. important: these ecu's are the 'two-track', and not the later 'three track', this relates to the throttle pedal. i have a large number for sale at a cost of $450 (australian dollars) each plus postage (recomended retail price is $1300 australian). any enquiries email: crazy_curtains@hotmail.com or call 0425756263 (australia)

RE: defender td5 ecu
Hi
My boss has purchased some new TD5 landrovers. There going to be used as general work vehicles in Tanzania Africa. Im over in the UK at present, he is in Tanzania. He emailed me with concerns that the new TD5 landroversmayhave a problem with humidity etc as they are a more complicated beast than previous models. Ive not heard of this being a problem. However i welcome any advice, knowledge orexperiences on this model.
many thanks
Ade
