Last renment of my former 98 Disco is available for sale. Pulled out with around 180k on the truck, the CDL was "frozen" and rusted up. I soaked the entire unit in fresh engine oil for over two weeks then removed most of the rust. Also purchased several new genuine parts from RoversNorth - never got around to fitting them and they are all still in package. I haven't tested out the CDL in a vehicle so I cannot say for sure wheather this unit works or not, I'm no expert neither but the oil really seemed to loosen everything up and now the linkage moves freely. Also have a new ignition coil that I purchased off ebay, fits all D1 models and was never used. However some surface rust has accumulated on the nuts as seen in pics. Make me some offers and I'll cover the cost of shipping via USPS only. Thanks for looking.

 

Also note that new grease/lub will need to be applied prior to installation back into a Disco.

 

Hey, I just saw one of your old threads brought up on LRO. The guy only wants to pay $30 for your fenders, which aren't Chawton White and are long gone (I'm sure).

 

Haven't logged on there in awhile now because the page takes to long to load on my IPhone 4. Yeah everything is gone or otherwise out of my hands.
