Default Great feekback!

Two things: First of all, great idea about emailing the PDF upon purchase so that the pics can be blown up. I will start start to do that.

Secondly, as far as getting the shift indicator up, mine just kind of unclipped when I pulled up on it. It theoretically shouldn't be too difficult to remove it- unless it's glued down with years of coffee, soda, and melted gummy worms
if so, maybe run a dull knife underneath the edge of it and pry gently??

THANK YOU ALL FOR SUCH WONDERFUL FEEDBACK!!! PLEASE TELL YOUR DISCOVERY FRIENDS!!!

In regard to the Hi-Lo shifter and pulling it up, just get under each side, left and right, and pull up. I think I used a flat blade screw driver to pry up one side, and then worked to the other side and pulled up firmly and it came loose. It is just a small tab of plastic inside of each side of the flat plastic ring at the bottom. It is pretty stout plastic.

In regard to pulling the main gear shift lever indicator up to get to remove the rubber mat, I did not pull it up. I just pulled on one side of the black mat and stretched it and pulled up one side and then it was loose. I cleaned mine in the sink with at toothbrush to get all the crud out of the little spaces between the dimple, and then covered it with Black Magic protectant. I just stretched it to put it back in the same way.

Hey guys --

I (finally) got around to installing Garrett's shifter boot/transfer case lever boot set. Like others, I agree it's a great kit and well worth the price. I didn't have any trouble at all with the installation or the gluing, but I did take my time.

One tip I'd suggest: use clothespins (a lot of 'em) to hold the boot on the frames, etc. after gluing to help it set and dry. I did the install this way and it was a piece of cake!

Default Yes! The boots are still available!

Thanks for your order, Bryce! I think you'll enjoy the boots. Hopefully your buddies in the club will be super jealous And if they are, please send them my way- but only, of course, once you've thoroughly enjoyed being the envy of the group!! haha

Cheers!

Not to resurrect the dead, but I ordered a replacement set for my Disco 2 from Garrett. Beginning to end was probably a 30 minute operation. Finished result looks really nice.

Take your time, take some pictures of the two boots before you disassemble them, and everything will be fine. Loctite Professional Super Glue did a real nice job for me.

Thanks, Garrett!

These new boots are great.
Fitted mine a few weeks ago, very easy to do,just follow the instruction sheet.
I used a glue gun as I think it easier to use than super glue.
Great product,great service,prompt delivery,-----and a GREAT PRICE.
