I have a front diff - the one that usually fails or ends up making groaning or other noises due to failed bearings etc, for an LR3.


This was going to be fitted to my own vehicle but I have just sold it so no longer have need for it.

I am looking to recover what I paid for the unit and shipping so offer me $900 + shipping and its yours. This has around 14 months warranty remaining and I never had it fitted. LR will charge you over $2K for this item and bear in mind they only warrant theirs for 12 months - so this is an awesome deal.

Where was the diff purchased from? Location?

 

I purchased the diff from the US, New York if I recall correctly, but will check the paperwork later. It came with an 18 month warranty, that i think still has around 14 months remaining. I will provide all the paperwork that came with it to the buyer.

It is still in its shipping container and had I not sold my truck, I would have had it fitted by now.

 

Is there a company selling them other than Land Rover, if so who? My indy shop says it costing him close to 1800 to get one now.
