1995 Discovery 3.9l with the 5-speed trans. 188,000 miles

Maintenance:
-receipts for a bunch of the trucks history including gaskets, distributor, fuel tank recall, and routine maintenance
-Headgaskets done at 167,000 miles
-P.O. had some trans work done (clutch etc) but no receipts

Since I've had it (3 months)
-fixed tail lights/wiring/trailer lights
-suspension bushings (rad arms, trail arms, panhard)
-new u-joints in front driveshaft
-converted to u-joint rear driveshaft
-new Plus 2" Terra Firma shocks
-budget FJ coil lift. 2" lift in front 2.5" in rear
-replaced one rear caliper and rebuilt the other, bled entire system
-new fluid in axles and center diff
-trimmed front bumper
-have the rear A-arm ball joint and bushings, not had a chance to get them in yet.

Rust:
-a few spots in the floors that need to be patched
-frame is solid
-typical door jam stuff

Other "bads":
-took down the saggy headliner, still have it though
-wavy dash leading edge
-CD player resets stations every time it's shut off
-window switch plate needs to be replaced
-ABS light is on (for now, just noticed the brake fluid level sensor wires are pulled out)


Good things:
-center diff lock and hi/lo work
-A/C works
-aftermarket sunroofs don't leak, need to be rewired though
-rear jump seats intact, no rear A/C
-matching spare
-5-speed!!



Asking $1500

IMO $2500 is a bit high for a body with rust holes.

Price lowered, if anyone thinks it's too high, please PM me and let me know so that I can adjust accordingly or just pull it down.

 

Price drop again. $1500 for a 5-speed D1 in good running condition with brand new suspension and suspension bushings. So surprised this hasn't sold.

 

That's cheap. 5 speeds can be a lot of fun.
