Default OME springs new in box(es) for Disco 2

Hi. I have a set of Old Man Emu medium duty springs, new in the box, that I’d like to sell. I went a different route with springs (RTE) and rather than go through hassle and restocking fee, will sell at a discounted price. I figure with the suspension package discount, sales price, and shipping I paid ~$335. Will sell for $250 plus shipping. Heavy as hell, obviously, so shipping won’t be cheap. Local pickup in Forest, VA area and perhaps Richmond if you’re patient. Please PM if interested.

Interested. What's the recommended shock for these springs? Are they a lift or a stock ride height?

They are spec’ ed to provide 2” of lift - it would depend in part on how loaded down your truck normally is, roof rack, steel bumpers, etc. I got 2” with my previous D2 with the similar Terrafirma springs and shocks on an otherwise stock truck. I had planned to use OME medium duty shocks (and that’s what I’m using with the RTE springs. The manufacturers will always recommended mating their shocks and springs, but I don’t think it really matters.

I have those springs and have found the Terrafirma shocks suit my taste best. The OME Nitrocharger was very stiff, Terrafirma just right! At first I was skeptical due to the low price of the TF but now with a few years on them I can say cost of shock has nothing to do with quality.

I still have these, gathering dust. Make an offer. I realize the shipping might give you a nose bleed, so local is best option.

I'm interested! I have the rear air bags still in my '03 Disco 2. What else would I need to convert over from air bags in the rear?
