I've had this truck about 9 months now, taking my time doing the Extinct upfits/corrections/restoration work to make it as clean and reliable as possible. As far as I can tell it was a two owner vehicle before I got it, both US Servicemen. The original owner took it all over the world with him on deployments, it has been to Sicily, Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, and eventually wound up in Florida (hence the "Florida window tint"). Somewhere along the way he had the frame treated/painted and it is the best looking frame I have ever seen (pics below). It also came with the complete service history from the moment it was purchased including the original window sticker and was maintained it in tip top shape including the interior trim and upholstery. It has almost every available option except the dealer installed DVD player including the original GPS radio, SLS rear suspension, park distance control and factory pushbar and auxiliary high beams - all 100% functional as intended. It had a factory dog guard installed at some point, I don't have the guard but the mounts are still installed. Of course it has the factory rubber floor mats and cargo mat and all the normal HSE equipment including the winter package and high end HK sound system. Due to the excellent service history I believe it has not experienced an overheat event and all evidence suggest the heads have never been off. The engine did have a slight tick when hot so I have pinned the cylinders which eliminated the tick. Stainless screws and safety wire used for the cylinder pinning for permanent installation. Also as part of my upfit/restoration work I have done the following work and replaced the following parts:
Complete cooling system replacement, new hoses, bottle, water pump, radiator, and the Extinct inline thermostat mod.
New valve cover gaskets and PCV mod
All door panels removed and window tracks lubricated to prevent regulator breakage.
Rebuilt PS pump
New idler pulley bearings
New wiring looms everywhere
New starter
Rebuilt master cylinder
Removed and resealed sun roof pans and sun roof motors
New headliner with radiant barrier installed
New shifter boots
New exhaust gaskets
Transfer case sight glass installed
Extinct SAI tubing mod (see pics)
Extinct CPS cover mod (CPS is new in 2019)
The truck has just over 102k on the clock now and everything works as it should. Paint is in very good condition for the age of the truck with minimal rock chips and scratches and only the slightest hint of the beginning of roof fade near the sunroofs. One of the previous owners pulled the plastic fender flares and front mud flaps to give it a bit more urban/clean look. Goodyear LS2 tires have 7-8/32 tread or about 75% of the original 12/32 when new. Oil pressure was checked and runs 22 psi hot at idle, 50 ish at rpm. Video available. In addition to the work I have put in to it, the previous owner had replaced the following parts in the last five years, all documented with receipts:
New Ball Joints
New Battery 2019
New Fuel Pump Oct 2019
New CPS Oct 2019
Upper Radiator Hoses - 74k
Steering Box - 77k
Rear air springs and compressor - 77k
Rear brakes - 82k
Plugs and wires - 83k
Lifters - 85k
Front brakes - 85k
Oxygen sensors - 93k
I will likely try to get it on BAT or Cars and Bids but am having some difficulty with their picture uploader so not there yet.
Truck is located in Lynchburg VA, first $13k takes it home.
Engine running

Reason: Forgot new starter
Sai Mod is the SAI hoses/tubing. I replace the stainless pipe with nylon hoses and PP fittings. Makes it easier to service coils and other wiring in the back of the engine compartment. You can see it in the photos.
Wow. Looks like a great truck. I'm not your buyer, but I know how careful and thorough you are. I expect that whoever buys it will be very happy with it, although things can go wrong unexpectedly with any 18-year-old vehicle.
A couple more questions -- What is the transfer case sight glass mod, and what is the Extinct CPS cover mod, please? Thanks.
Transfer case sight glass - replaced transfer case level plug with sigh glass, no more removing to check level. CPS cover mod - CPS cover wrapped in aluminum foil to reflect radiant heat. Never have another failed CPS.
