I like that brown one.......looks slick!
Best part, I love motors hanging out of hoods..........I mean come on, it's freaking awesome to look at and drive.......the 'WTF' effect......LOL!!

Wife would totally disown me right now even if it was free......she's on the war path to the point I've hidden every knife in the house.......(only 8 more years!!).....I'd have that thing gutted as of yesterday if it was up to me.....

The other problem is I'm listing this property at the end of Feb. again, can't deal with unfinished projects when moving.........dumped 3 last time, 1 prior......(an IH).....sold another while in storage I had just finished, and managed to keep the third only to bring to Kentucky and unload later....

Need to resettle and line up some fresh projects!!

Yep, understand. Even though I'm without an owner I still have to think on a practical level. The 944 I just found would be a flip, just and fix and double the price but I gotta keep it in check until I know where I'm gonna land here.

My wife wants a 944 or a MGB-GT.

944 is sexy, good handling, has AC and a peppy little motor

MGB-GT is so simple to work on I can handle it. Parts are cheap and I think they are wicked cool.

I want to get her a MGB-GT

Reading up on the 944's 2.5L inline 4 non-turbo's 143hp motor, just to see what's what if I do take the brown turd on. I may take a little drive down there to check it out. Being an 83 anything I'm sure the interior plastic is brittle which every 944 I've seen up for sale has had issues with.

You know Ski, you have a cool wife without a doubt......... when I was a young kid I wanted a GT, my uncle had one before he shipped to Nam. He came back..... sold it and snagged a Super Bee with the pistol grip shifter.

Happy to say my part of the south is doing well. In all the heavy rains my back door that I installed 10 days ago did not leak at all. The old door was leaking water into the house in the rain. So I was so happy I installed a new toilet to celebrate. It to does not leak
