Each head is completely disassembled, all parts checked for wear and tolerances checked. Valves are ground, valve seats receive a 3 angle grind, valve stem seals are replaced, heads are pressure tested and mating surface decked.

Any idea if a set of head like this will work on the 10 bolt 3.9 block? Seems like you could just not use the last row of bolts and plug up the SAI ports no?

I was also wondering about mounting bracket bolt holes.

 

Good question. I have a set of non SAI heads . The heads would fit, as you said you just don't use the last row... But if its a V belt drive/non serpentine, the accessory bolt holes on the heads will not work.

Let me double confirm what flavor the heads are that I have.

 

I can't tell, I would guess the non SAI ones I have are for serpentine belt motors only.

 

Yea that's my thought. Dammit. I'm all v belt. Looks like I'll have to go the long way to the machine shop.
