Default Selling my LR XD -- Help please!!!

Hi everybody! I am finally ready to say good-bye to my beautiful Disco XD. Two years ago I bought it from my next-door/friend neighbor, and enjoyed driving it as it is truly a gem. However, it is too much of a "toy" to have for me!! I don't do it justice just driving it around the neighborhood, taking my kids to school and baseball games. He's been sad for the past few months, and I know he deserves a life filled with more excitement than the one I can provide!

So, I need some guidance here, please!!
It is, like I said, a 1997 Yellow/Black Decals XD. It's in absolutely the BEST condition anyone can dream of. One of a kind. I don't need to list all that's included as you aficionados probably know better than I do.

Now, here's the best part of all --- I am sure this is indeed one of a kind because it only has 38,800 miles!! I got it with 28K two years ago, and since I only drive it around the neighborhood, only added barely over 10K. The only previous owner, my neighbor, had it parked in his garage for maaany years as he separated from his wife and left it years ago. Then, in 2009 he allowed her to finally sell it since he had moved back to Europe, where he is from.
Tires are new: Michelin XC LT4. I also made sure to replace every possible hose and gasket when I got it since it had been parked for so long.
It has the rack, ladder, roof lights, and we even installed an Anti-Theft Gas Cut-Off switch as the reason I had to get a new vehicle at the time was because my Van had been stolen. Interior is in mint condition, except the waterproof seat covers are somewhat stained -but that's only because they've protected the actual seats. It has the back flip-up seats. All in perfect upholstery. I even will provide the original Land Rover coffee mugs, as well as the LR Key Chain!

So, I need some advise as to the value of this precious gem... anyone can help? Thanks a million!! See pics below:

I'm sorry, but due to the current economy and poor reputation of Land Rover for reliabilty, you Discovery XD is not worth much. I am willing to take her off your hands for $1500. A sacrifice but only because I am a fan.
Seriously, check your local CraigsList and Edmunds.com as the area you are in will determine the value. Also check EBAY to see what things are moving for. You have a beautiful and special vehicle, don't let her go to some schmuck who will not appreciate her.

He was pulling your leg... all in good humor. I would say that it is in the neighborhood of 12-13k here in the Midwest.

That sounds good, RjBu. This would help me to get a vehicle more fit for my purpose. I am in no rush, so I can wait for the right buyer. Thank you!
