Default So Cal Discovery In Pennsylvania for Sale

SOLD.

Hi Everyone! You may have read my post on the D2 section of the forums, so here we go.

2003 Disco SE with Dual AC units (front and back), at the time of this writing 90,250 miles on odometer.
I bought the truck for my daughter that was going to graduate school in southern Illinois, (being from southern California we thought she will need a tank to drive in the Illinois snow.) She was so far away from us, we were concerned for her safety. When I bought the truck it had sat for few years with a few slipped liners in engine block, it had less than 80k miles on it but the body & interior was extremely nice, like new.
So I bought a salvaged 2000 4.6 Range Rover P38 with 84k miles and pulled the engine.
Did the heads & installed in Disco.
New Oil Pump Gears
New Water pump
New Coolant Cap
Starter serviced to be as good as new
Brand New Genuine Alternator ($500)
New Pullies & Tensioner
New Coil Pack / Spark Plug Wires / Iridium Sparkplugs
New Crank Position Sensor
New OXYGEN sensors
New Fan Clutch Assembly
New Hoses and Belt
New Akebono Brake Pads
New Greaseable Front Driveshaft
PCV Valve Modified to Fram FV237 (never clogs & easy to clean)
Installed 5 New Tires 255/55/18 Nitto Terra Grappler G2. (They are 90% new now)
Group 27 Battery (810ccA) (Less than 2 years old)
Serviced All Window Motors
Serviced Blower Fan

Cooling system modification:
I wanted the truck to run cool even when Ambient temp is high. (I consider 200*F too high for these engines & now this truck will never get there, no matter what the operating conditions are.)
So I installed a new Nissens Radiator, and also a smaller radiator and some Aluminum cooling tubes that work parallel with the main radiator. So now cooling system holds 2 quarts more coolant and all that extra coolant is in additional radiators & my in-line thermostat setup that uses standard 54mm (2.125") thermostat (Chevy, etc.)

Replaced all fluids:
1. Transmission - Valvoline High Mileage ATF (synthetic)
2. Both Differentials - Mobil1 75W90
3. Transfer Case - Mobil1 75W90
4. Flushed Brake system using PENTOSIN DOT.4LV (Germany)
5. Coolant - Replaced Last Year (Prestone)

Last time I saw the truck was last year. Went under truck to grease & check fluids, and the underside still looked like a new car!

Beige Interior/Black Carpeting.
Dash is black on top/beige on bottom
Seats are in excellent shape
Everything in this truck works as it should.
!!** ORIGINAL JACK** That looks brand new and works perfect **!!

Pictures were sent to me by my daughter, so if they are not sufficient you have to excuse me (did the best she could).
It is a Southern California truck, been out of state for only a year and a half, still has California plates on it, and only seen one winter in East Coast, so don't worry about any rust it does not have any. (& she always parks it in Parking Structure of her building). Only thing I notice is front brush guard does need a re-spray.

LOCATION: Truck is located 20 miles Northwest from Philly, in "King of Prussia, Pennsylvania".
I will be there only for a few days from November 1st until November 4th. If anyone is interested, you can come see the truck while I am there. Please contact me through private message. I will try to respond as soon as I can. If I'm unable to sell it during Nov1st through Nov4th, I will be driving it back to California.

If you are thinking of buying a cheap truck & putting lots of work and money into it to make it a clean and excellent truck, it will cost quite a lot by the end.
Trucks like mine are priced 14k to 18k.
BUT I AM ASKING $9500 FOR MINE.

Ugh. I would but this in a second if it wasn't green. Good luck with sale.

Man I wish I could afford that right now. I'm doing exactly what you said there, buying a LR for less and will bring it up to snuff slowly because my Covid affected income just won't let me do any better. Good luck with your sale, it looks to be worth at least what you're asking for it.
