Remember, he's in the Republik of Kalifornia, so they're pretty strict on what kinds of firearms they allow within their borders. My home of record is in Ventura County (CA), but I work in VA, and several of my firearms are not legal in CA: my 17-shot 9mm; my S&W Governor, since it can shoot .410 shotgun shells, CA classifies it as a "short-barrel shotgun", and hence it's illegal; my .308 CETME "sporting" rifle, with 20-round mags, bayonet and bayonet lug, and paratrooper stock, is specifically listed on their banned rifles. I think my Mossberg 500 SPX shotgun is legal, even though it has a collapsible stock and pistol grip. CA just isn't any fun when it comes to guns, lol! Heard they're going to loosen the restrictions on conceal-carry permits, and change from a "may issue" state to a "shall issue" one like VA is. Now if they would only reciprocate CCPs with other states, I could conceal carry my compact .45ACP whenever I go there...
But they will never take my Baikal Droizd machine gun BB gun!!!
