Default Interior A-Pillar trim WITHOUT tweeters - Disco II

I am looking for a set of beige Discovery II interior A-Pillar trim pieces WITHOUT the tweeter mounts in it.

Getting rid of the 2 way components stock speakers and going to put some 2 way coaxial speakers in the top of the front doors.

Thanks.

I can't recall ever seeing a DII with A pillars that didn't have the tweeters. Maybe on some early SD models but I think I would have remembered an odd part like that.

I was thinking that myself. Would a sans-tweeter D1 trim fit a D2?

Why not just unhook the stock tweeter and leave the pillar covers as is? Or better yet, leave it hooked up and just install your new co-ax speakers in the doors

Edit: Wait...You're going to install the speakers in the top of the door panel? Not the stock location?

The mid at the top off the door is a stock location.

Don't think the idea of leaving the stock tweeter connect would be a good idea either. That combined with the tweet in the aftermarket speaker would be too bright!

I thought some D2s had a base line ICE system that didn't have tweeters in the a pillars.

If I can't find any maybe I will put gauges where the tweets are now. "Hi dear, could you tell me what that gauge reads?" :-)

I have probably took apart 500 Discovery 2's and have never seen what you are asking for.

True, but that is a 2.5" speaker. Are you installing components or coax with integrated tweeter? Regardless, I would just unplug the tweeters and leave them there. No one will know and it looks factory so just leave it as is.
