Default Wanted: Stock D2 V8 fuel injectors

I have some leaking/sticking injectors but I can not have my D2 down for a few days while they are getting cleaned and rebuilt. If someone has a full set of stock D2 injectors let me know.

Have you tried PT Schram or Will Tillery? That's where I'd start looking...if they don't have them, they might be able to tell you which other fuel injectors can be used. (I seem to remember seeing a post on one of the Rover forums about there being a Ford injector that might work...)

Yes, the orange 19 pound v8 explorer injectors work but if someone had a cheap set of stock ones that's all I need. There is a shop just up the road from where I work that rebuilds injectors and has a 24 hour turn around on them. But with an hour commute, school and a 19 month old son I can't be down a car for 24 hours. So I was going to send out a set to get redone then make the switch in one evening after work. I found a fuel injector calculator online and the stock 17 pound injectors are more than enough so I'd rather not put the 19 pound ones in.

I have a full set on the scrap 4.0L engine in my garage. Let me know what you think would be a fair price.

Of course, as soon as I sell anything from this engine, the same part is going to go bad on my vehicle, and I will be kicking myself for selling the spare parts, lol.

I'd be willing to send mine to you once I pulled them if you wanted to have a set again, they would just need to be cleaned/rebuilt by a shop. I'm going to try a cleaning today with a special tool we have here at the shop that connects to the fuel rail. If this doesn't clean them out then I'll let you know what I'm willing to pay for your injectors.

Sounds like a plan. I really need to get rid of the engine taking up space in the garage, and would like to part out as much as I can, but letting go of stuff I may need is worrisome!

Default D2 Injectors

I have a set of stock D2 injectors off a used engine that was installed. I'll send you the whole lower manifold or just the injectors but the shipping will be higher on the manifold assembly due to weight. Let me know what you think its worth.
