So I have been looking around and also on the internet and decided to give this a shot. So I am a mountain bike rider that loves to enjoy spring/summer in the mountains riding. All that would make it perfect is being able to carry more than one bike on my truck. Usually its a few of us that go and would like to have a bike rack that holds two or three bikes.

I was wondering if there is anyone on the forum that has a bike rack that fits with a two inch hitch that is willing to trade, buy or sell. Please let me know.

I have a Thule designed for a 2" hitch that came in on an '00 DII I'm parting out. It looks pretty complete. I'll get photos posted tomorrow so you can see if it will work for you.

I checked the Thule website and it looks like what came on the truck I'm parting is an earlier version of this:

Thule*-*9027 Apex Swing 4 Bike

It looks like it's designed for up to four bikes. You may need to purchase new straps for it but my experience with Thule is that you can usually get parts for older models.

The biggest issue is that you are on the other side of the country while I'm in CT. This is a heavy rack. Shipping won't be cheap.
