Default WTB: Rust Free 2004 D2 East Coast

I'm searching for a solid rust free Discovery 2. Specifically a 2004 with white exterior color. clean interior. I live in Claremont NH so anything within roughly 750 miles would be ideal.

No your right. I was just pissed and stressed, everything coming down at once. Losing patience. Just trying to sort **** out and get a D2 in great running condition and back on the road. Cheers.

There is an 04 in my neighborhood that may come available soon. The owner purchased it new and has serviced it at the dealer since new but is now facing head gaskets. It has about 115k miles on it and is all original with no add ons. It is white with black interior and very nice stock. He and his wife are retired and may just decide to part with it now instead of spending the money to fix it. I will see if I can find out more.

Thanks man! Im alittle worried about the heads, in light of the condition of my Turner block. Other members are suggesting I find a running D2 and store the Turner block and rebuild it on my own when I have time, but I will definitely consider it! Wish I was not so dam picky with my preference for a White D2. But I know I would not be happy with any other color sigh.....

When I was looking to replace my white 94; I set the requirements at white 94-95 5spd and cloth interior or a white Kalahari. I found both but was able to finalize the deal on the Kalahari. So what I am saying is take your time and you will find what you want.

Yeah I hear ya. I just dont have the luxury of alot of time right now... and speaking of cloth I really wish US D2's had cloth interior. Would be a improvement over cold leather seats int he winter time. Keep me posted on that D2 though!

Bump: Still looking for a white 2004 D2. Stock or moderately modified. Willing to travel a great distance for the right truck. Be it 200 miles or 1,000 miles from Central NH.

IMHO it might be easier to just find a real Unicorn and put a Land Rover decal on its side than find a solid rust free DII. Good Luck!

This title is confusing. The words rust-free coupled with east coast...
