Default WTB. Set of 5 factory LR wheels 16in

Looking for a set of 5 factory wheels from a newer disco I. 98 or 99 I think. Not sure what they're called. But they are the five flat spoke style wheels.

There is a guy who posts on here often, Paul Grant. He has a business parting out Rovers, has done 400 - 500 of them. Might contact him.

It sounds like you're looking for the BOOST wheel. It was only on a handful of '98's and even fewer '99's. An alternative is the Deep Dish XS Sport wheel. The spokes are fluted rather than flat like those on the Boost wheel. I've only had a couple of sets of Boost wheels over the years and got a lot of money for them when I did. I can't help you now but I do wish you luck in your search. Just don't be surprised when you hear the price for a set of five!
Cheers,
Paul

This is the Deep Dish XS Sport. I just hope whomever it is that I stole this photo from doesn't get too upset with me.

The only other wheels that were used on NAS DI's where the Castors and the Freestyles. The Castors were on all '94 and '95 DI's but the finish was different for each year. The Freestyle, or Tornado, became common on upline DI's in '96 and '97. The Freestyle is identical to the Tornado that was used on D90's in the North American market.

Ah. Thanks for the reply. I am indeed looking for the "boost" style wheel. Can anyone give me a price on a set of 5? Thanks again for all the input

Boost wheels were on 1998 50th anniversary D1. You can try going to car-part.com and search for wheels for a 1998 disco.

There are also remanufactured or reproduction boost wheels.

And you can still get them brand new.

They are popular with the defender crowd it seems, so check the classified on defendersource.com

Also places that specialized in defender parts like:
