Hello all. I'm looking for a receiver, hitch, and wiring for a 2011 LR4. Prices for new parts are exorbitant, so I'm going to try posting here before taking the plunge into $800-1000 worth of gear direct from a LR dealer.

Thanks abran. The CL add is still a bit higher than I was hoping, and I'm not a fan of buying on Ebay. I'm keeping my eyes open, and hopefully I stumble across one in the $300 range.

Abran, that is the older style that sits lower. I'm looking for the newer version.

 

Bought mine for a 2011 LR4 off Ebay for $275 free shipping had in 2 days. I bought wiring harnesses from AP/BP and now see them cheaper on Ebay

 

I managed to find the receiver for $360 (shipped), wiring for $100, and hitch kit for $50 ($13 shipping on top of the last two items). Thanks abran for trying to send leads on deals. All said and done, I'm $565 in, which is less than I would've paid for a new, genuine receiver alone!
