The Disco Moving Van
I finished my first year of college a couple weeks ago and I had to get all my stuff home somehow. My dad offered to drive out and help me pack everything in two cars. I told him there's no point in him driving 3 hours both ways to help me pack "a little bit" of stuff and i'd do it myself.... All I can say is, if the disco were any smaller I would have been out of luck! The only free space left was my drivers seat. Moral of the story: Never underestimate how much crap you have.

Next year i'll have flooring on my roof rack and i'll finally be able to use it for smaller stuff! Right now the only thing it will hold is bigger stuff because the bottom is only three rails.

Having made the move between here and Denver 20 odd times as a kid, I'd say there is room for at least one more bedroom worth of stuff in there. lol. Glad someone else thinks their truck is a U-haul.
It's amazing how much crap you can accumulate in a short time. I went straight from Air Force basic training to tech school so when I got to tech school all I had was my uniforms and one suitcase of civilian clothes. When I left tech school 9 months later, I had enough crap to fill the bed of my Mazda pickup.
When we got new furniture for the house all I had to pick it up from the warehouse was the rover. So she ended up with anm entire 2 section couch (still in the box) on the roof - no roof rack; a dresser, head board and bed rails in the back and a night table on the passenger seat. Borrowed some twine from the warehouse guy and threw a couple of rachet straps over it and off we went. I dont know who was more amazed; the warehouse guy when I pulled out of there or my wife when I pulled in. I will try to find the pics to post them.
