Got my Land Rover!
Hey all ive finally gotten back on the boards after a few weeks. I picked up my 01 Discovery 2 last monday. It is far better than I could have imagined. It really is one of the best riding cars ive ever been in. I am pleasantly suprised. I met with G Reeves from this forum who is local, and also an avid shooter! The car is in great shape for being at the 70,800 mark. He did a full inspection on the spot and drove the car with his gauge plugged in and advised me on what to do from there. Ive ordered the gauge and a new thermostat. Waiting on paycheck for the rest of what we discussed. (454 motor and a blower...just kidding). The car was garage kept and the paint and everything look great. I will post pics tomorrow when it is light out again. Thanks for all the help so far, I can see why people love these cars so much. Again, MANY thanks to G Reeves!

Congratulations on the find!!! G Reeves is a great guy. I have never personally had the honor to meet him but after talking on the phone I had a feeling he would do what he did for you with the inspection. GREAT JOB G REEVES!!!
(You should rename this to "G Reeves is a great guy")

Geez, you are guys are going to make me blush..... It's always nice to introduce new people into the Land Rover World. I was helped by people in the UK who became and are good friends so its only fair that I pass it on. To me Land Rovers are a hobby and a passion so I will glady help any body no matter where they are or who they are.
Thanks for the nice words
