I think I remember hearing all Rovers are made within just a few miles from raw material to finished product. Maybe that was just at one point in time. Either way, that's something you should look into as well Spike. BTW, if this does become a successful project, send me a copy, I'll print out a few hundred and pass them out around my town and campus.

As far as I know England does not have any raw material, so everything is trucked in.
But with that being said, once the roll of steel/aluminum gets to the factory it is all done under one roof.
Only the engines are made off campus and that factroy is ran by wind turbines and is only a few miles from the final assembly plant.
So LR runs 2 factories, they are within miles of each other and one of them has been there since 1948 and the other is ran by wind power.
Somebody please correct me if I am wrong.
This will be a ongoing project, I am not doing much research tonight as a friend and I are going clubing tonight, and I may not be much good tommorrow if I survive tonight...so just keep checking back guys and gals.
Once it is all said and done I will do a nice little write up that you could print and distribute in a non confrontational way.

People your age don't go clubbing. They sit on the porch in their rocking chairs and talk about the good old days when gas was cheap and they had hair.

Hey now, I remember when it cost me $20 to fill my 1979 Oldsmobile Delta 88 coupe with a 350, 4BBl carb and a 3 speed auto from empty at the Crystal Flash.

Ok, so right now it looks like only 2 manufactures make hybrid car batteries, Panasonic and Sanyo, both of them in Japan.
They are working on getting a hybrid battery factory going here in MI but it is a slow process to get things moving.
