So. My hubs said he had a co-worker that took his Jeep on some off-roading route from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Is this a thing? Can this be done? If so how? What would the skill level need to be to attempt this?
Take I-15 to the Mohave and practice. Avoid military land spaces if you are not permitted to be there. With a Rover all things are possible, including getting so stuck that recovery is required at high $$$.
from what i saw it looks pretty tame. twisty, small rocks and dirt. if you have a spare tire or two and a hi-lift that you know how to use I can't see why it would be so hard.
OK. Maybe I should go practice! I haven't been in those parts since I was in the Corps, but looks same as 29 Palms terrain...BTW I liked off-roading more in a HUMVEE I didn't have to pay to fix! LOL
