here is how i feel about it,,,
the only people in RANGE ROVERS (sport or fullsize) and Merc G wagons ALLL look like douches and or they are well kept house wives or soccer snot movers in yuppie towns,,,,
give me a discovery or a defender any day of the week

Before Mercedes imported the G-500's a importer in New Mexico imported the Gelandewagen and you could get them in diesel or just about any motor.
The cost was $120,000 to $150,000 USD when Mercedes started bringing them in cost was $75,000 that put the importer out of business.
The sad part is all you could get from MB was a 5.0 V8 with a old EPA of 12 mpg city and 14 mpg hwy as I remember.
