Anyone know of a place in or around the Albany, NY area where I can test out my Discovery? I just picked it up a little over a week ago and I'd like to test out the HDC, TC, Locking-diff, etc.... I've been driving around looking for something but haven't found anything yet. It doesn't have to be hardcore or anything. Thanks!

 

I'm sorry but I can't resist making a smart *** comment! Being a former New Yorker, I would say wait until a snowstorm hits and go driving... especially the county roads in Southern Albany and Northern Greene County. They hardly plow them so you will get to give your Disco a good workout!! That was how I did my "off-roading" when I lived there.

there are a few guys from the cap district on here. maybe they can help you out. i'm sure there are places to go in greene and saratoga counties and maybe even schenctady. i lived in albany for a few years. even if you cross the river that has got to be some places.
