DiscoXD I know what you mean but I was looking at the FarmTec flooring and all they did was drill several large circular holes in the flooring to alleviate the lift problem and their website claims that it will actually cut wind noise. I don't know. Guess someone would just have to try it and see.

 

yeah the farmtech stuff is like a grating isnt it? i though you meant just put some solid flat sheet metal up there... that would probably be not so good... and honestly, when i bought my truck it had the rack i have on it already... i though ab putting a floor but never have, the only thing i use the rack for is carrying my larger spare tire... i did mount a seat up there once... but when i travel i travel alone so all my things fit inside, but i suppose if you have a family you need to bring along then everything may not fit inside

 

i thought you meant a seat to sit on. like you took your truck to a race track and was pregaming on the roof or sometihng. hahahha

 

That is one of the reasons I put the floor up there, for when we go to the Indy races. From the roof we can see the practice laps in the morning.

 

I paid $150 for it.
