Barn Find
Hi, all... I'm new to the forum, and to Land Rovers, although have always loved the philosophy and look of them. My friend of many years recently passed away, leaving a fully-enclosed 1969 model in a garage/barn. It seems complete, although it hasn't run in many years. Not sure what it needs, beyond a thorough cleaning. There's also a 1970 open roller that may or may not have a drive train. It would have been purchased for parts. There's so much other stuff stacked in the space that I haven't been able to get to the front of either.
I'm thinking about buying them from his widow once they're uncovered. Can anyone please tell me what an approximate fair price would be, both as-is and for clean, running but unrestored condition?
Thanks.

Good Morning Sidecar, I myself am new to the forums here. My opinion is if you like/love the thought of owning a Land Rover then get them... I am also starting to restore and I actually have two LR's(2-door and a 4-door). I just completed, two diffs, one rear axle Hsg. with hubs installed, leaf springs, shocks, four prop shafts (2 front, 2 rear), Next is the front axle. it will be a long road and I am sure cost will be at times an issue. So good luck with it sir!
