Default Original Battery 1966 IIa Petrol

Does anyone know what the original battery was when it rolled out of the factory in 1966? Specifically the brand. This is for a Series IIa petrol 109 station wagon.

Nice vehicle. It sounds like you’re trying to make your restoration as original as possible. I wish I could help you. And I wish you luck in your restoration.

I am. Starting with an incredible vehicle & shooting for "no excuses" mint condition. Here's a shot of it. Thanks for the reply.

I realize it's just a battery. Best I can tell so far is the orginal might be an Oldham.

'66 109. Oh yeah!

Wow, that’s beautiful. My own opinion is that the earlier 2A’s with the headlights in the grille are the most iconic looking LR’s. The Series Ones are of course the earliest LR’s, and as such, are worth the most, but I really love the lines on the 2A. It seems that LR, and the buying public, agreed, as they kept the same lines for decades.
