I have a question regarding my Serie 3 74’ 109’s engine identification.
In the part catalogue it is often mentioned that some parts are different depending on the engine number. Prefixes 906 and 366 seems to be the major differences with the associated letter at the end of its number A,B,C,..

Here is my question:
Is 906.....B older that 366.....B.

In the below picture do we agree on the fact that if my engine number is prefix 906, I refer to 2, 3 and 6 (and other parts without numbers)
