Hi All, I’ve got a ‘73 Series 3 109 2 door LHD that I am seeking engine info for. The engine number stamped is 3312 with a prefix character that I can’t quite determine. This is on the flat surface on the left side forward edge of the block. I’ve found reference to some engine numbers being on the right side by the distributor on the fuel pump mounting area. I find nothing n this location. I’ve read some info about block paint colors and mine appears to be originally the light blue color. I will attempt to attach photos here. What I am trying to learn is why this would have an odd stamping like this. I’m also aware that it may not be original to this Rover, which is ex military FFR 3/4 ton. I’ve just acquired it and I am trying to get to know what I have. Any tips on where to find details on this Rover are appreciated.
