Hello
I own a series 3 and was wondering if anybody could advise if its a genuine safari model? How i could tell?
it has the roof on.
Ive tried landrover with chassis number but their records dont go back far enough.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If it has a safari roof, doesn’t that make it a Safari model?

 

Mine is a '75 over here in the UK it should have a Safari badge on the left of the rear door. And roof lining, door cards and handles, 4 separate seats in the back. And the lower parts of the body should be the same colour as the top half, not the usual white.

My ser3 the day I bought it. Half of it was flung in the back. No engine but good chassis.
