Greetings all!

Looking to replace gear fluid for my 1965 series 2.

Owners manual shows SAE 90 gear oil for transfer box fluid...when looking online it appears that variations of this are more common (80w-90).

What do people prefer to use? Can you use the more common 80w-90 or is that a mistake?

From what I've been able to find, no issues I'm using 85w-90 on my '69.
