Pulling it off as soon as I'm done typing for finish welding, light tabs & finish work.......wrestling with color I want, if I go straight black, it'll just disappear...

Mean while.....

When those parts your shipping to Norway absolutely, positively need to ship out under 4 pounds......I'm just under 3!

Giddy up!

You do realize at some point in time I am going to show up on your door step with a MGB and a 8.8" rear axle right?

No problem, we could bang that out in an afternoon.

So.....back on the bench, all welded up and 80% detailed......need to hit the tube work tomorrow or the next day.......

Upper bumper.....

Corners filled and radiuses finished.....
Also added a back gusset, better visual under the body line & a little extra beef....

Miller time.............

Damn that is some nice work.

Going to take you up on that. We will just need to narrow it, 4 link it and maybe a quick tub job for clearance. I'll bring beer and steak of course...

Have it narrowed in advance as you'll need shafts as well.......bring a 4 link kit, bags or coils.....that's all the fun part! Tub's are typically sheet metal, while I can work with sheet metal, I don't have a lot of shop tooling for it.

As far as your other comment.......it's what I do.

Thanks!

Soooooo........jumped thru numerous hoops and banged it out and did the quickie (who doesn't like a quickie) install.......

Paint......ugg, typically I like bedliner, but this would make it invisible...so I went with hammered black which is usually gray......but it looked bronze, so I went with the other hammered black......I need a beer......which was lighter than the bronze but did end up darkening up........so for now, I guess I'm cool with it......

Kept the fogs for the Euro Trash look...........Pretty much digging it, it's as light as the stock bumper with the hoop added. This I like, light, strong, recovery, and most importantly..........DONE.......Time to rip into her butt!!!
