For the head unit I'm thinking to go with this Pioneer unit over a kenwood.

AVH-2330NEX - NEW! - Multimedia DVD Receiver with 7" WVGA Display, Apple CarPlay?, Android Auto?, Built-in Bluetooth®, HD Radio? Tuner, SiriusXM-Ready? and AppRadio Mode + | Pioneer Electronics USA

Looks like the bee's knees.

Boy do these head unit makers need to simplify their lineup or at least differentiate features between model numbers on the overview page. so hard to figure out.

Couple clamps, vibration bushings, and some tube should do the trick. I already have the roof rivet nutted

Here's the bar test mounted. I think the vibration bushings I used are too soft, the bar moves quite easily. With the weight of speakers up there it's going to be bad news bears. Will try metal spacers instead

That's a nice looking head unit. Pioneer makes some really quality stuff once you get above their department store level stuff.

That bar looks like a pretty good setup. How solid are those clamps? Your whole interior looks like it's setup pretty nice. What do you use your disco for if you don't mind my asking?

Thanks. The clamps should be solid once I put the bolt in and tighten them. I use it for camping and trails, and as a workshop to work on... the rover. With no garage or reasonable tool storage, I've sort of built everything around quick tool access inside the truck and camping storage/accessories. It's finally approaching "completion".. for now, and I'll be sure to post some photos.

You'll definitely be ready when the zombie apocalypse happens!

The only other thing I can think of is storage for 3 gallon Cornelius keg, CO2, and beer tap.

Good work!!
